Happy 105th Birthday~!

Convent Bkt Nanas CNY Celebration

Hey!! A big hello to everyone out there!! We're back!!

Just to clarify that this blog is not dead. We didn't update this blog for quite some time because of holidays and we don't have much to blog about during holidays. But now, since school reopened and there's a lot of activities coming, I'm sure this blog will be active again and bring all the fun and excitement happening around in St John's Institution to everyone reading this blog!!

Last Friday we were invited by Convent Bukit Nanas to join their Chinese New Year celebration held in their school. And so all the Sixth Form Council committee members together with Mr Han(our teacher advisor) attended this celebration from 10am to 12pm. We almost get lost in CBN. There's lots of buildings, stairs and corridors which confused us. But at last we found the form 6 classes where all the form sixers were waiting for us there.

We introduced ourselves to each other and we had a small party over there. They prepared quite a lot of food for us. And they are very friendly and so all of us get along together very easily. After that we went for a school tour. When we passed by a form 4 class, the rare species in CBN (the boys) were trapped by all the girls to take photos together. After that, we visited form 5 classes, form 6 classes, labratory, canteen, library and so on.

While waiting for the lion dance to start, we had some mini games. SJI vs CBN. we played few games, who's the fastest to finish all the mandarin oranges, musical chair, and "Kamian kata tutup mulut" games. But we didn't manage to finish the last game and missed the lion dance cause we have to get back to school already. And it's sad to say that SJI lost. Yet we still had a lot of fun, get to know more friends, experienced different culture in girl school and etc. Win or lose does'nt matters at all!!

A very big thank you to CBN-ers for inviting us to join your celebration. We appreaciate everyting that you have prepared for us. And we hope that we can get the photos from you soon enough so that we can update this blog again!!
